The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
